Kenyatta Bethea’s state and federal litigation practice is focused on all areas of general civil litigation, including personal injury, wrongful death, property claims and bad faith litigation. His practice in the area of property claims also frequently involves the representation of general contractors, roofers and insurance companies in the resolution of pending claims or the collection of outstanding debts.

 As a part of his general civil litigation practice, Kenyatta counsels and represents various religious entities in all phases of their ecclesiastical practices, including litigation matters involving premise liability, personal injury, First Amendment claims, wrongful discharge claims, abuse claims, and other disputes arising from the operation of a religious entity.  He also works with religious entities in crafting appropriate policies and procedures, employee handbooks, volunteer agreements, Constitution and By-Laws, employee severance agreements, and releases.

 Kenyatta has served on the Board of Directors for the Oklahoma County Bar Association.  He has also served on the Oklahoma Association of Justice Advisory Board.

 Kenyatta’s achievements have earned his inclusion in Oklahoma Super Lawyers.

 Active in the community, Kenyatta previously served on the board of trustees for his church.  Kenyatta has also volunteered his time as a group leader for the youth at his church, at his children’s schools and as a coach for various athletic teams in the community.
